Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels dissolve the connection holding dead cells together on the surface of the skin and reveal the smoother, healthier skin beneath. SkinSpirit offers an array of chemical peels from light, gentle peels, like Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid, and medium peels which penetrate the skin more deeply, like Vitalize and Jessner's. The use of these peels depends on the condition of your skin, which will be determined at the consultation.

Our two types of chemical peel treatments are resurfacing and peeling.

Mildly stimulates the production of new, healthy cells via exfoliation while targeting your specific skin condition. Little to no downtime is expected with these treatments.

Lactic Acid Peel

Ideal for first time peelers. This AHA peel lightens and brightens while helping the skin retain moisture. Ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive. Can be added to any facial treatment. Very little to no peeling is expected.

Glycolic Acid Peel

This AHA peel penetrates deeper than a lactic acid peel and is ideal for aging skin. This peel addresses fine lines, pigment concerns and stimulates collagen production. Can be added to any facial treatment. Leaves the skin feeling refreshed and renewed. A series of 6 treatments is recommended for best results.

Peptide/Pro–Retinol Peel

This superficial anti–aging peel combines glycolic and lactic acids with anti–aging peptides and medical grade vitamin A. Ideal for clients looking for a treatment with more aggressive anti–aging results than just a glycolic acid peel alone. Can be added to any facial. Also great right before a big night out! May experience minimal flaking. A series of 6 treatments is recommended for best results.

Pumpkin/Pro–Retinol Peel

This peel combines glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and medical grade vitamin A to deliver a superficial peel that is ideal for oily, pigmented and/or acne–prone skin. Pores appear smaller and skin feels unbelievably smooth from this treatment! Can be added to any facial. May experience minimal flaking. A series of 6 treatments is recommended for best results.

More aggressive peeling agents than the resurfacers and is designed to deliver optimal results. Some downtime is expected with these treatments.

Salicylic Acid Peel

This peel is ideal for thick, oily and/or acneic skin. Salicylic acid breaks down oil and exfoliates inside and outside follicle walls. Mild flaking can be expected. A series of 3 treatments is recommended for best results.

Vitalize Peel

This treatment is the next step above a Pumpkin/Pro–Retinol Peel and a Salicylic Acid Peel and addresses various skin conditions such as pigment abnormalities, acne and photo damage. This peel cannot be combined with any other treatment and a series of 3 is recommended for best results.

Jessners Peel

This is an ideal peel for stubborn pigmentation, moderate acne and great for oily/acneic skin. More aggressive than a Vitalize Peel. Mild to moderate shedding of the skin is expected. This peel cannot be combined with any other treatment and a series of 3 is recommended for best results.

TCA/Pro–Retinol Peel

This peel is a step above a Glycolic Acid Peel and a Peptide/Pro–Retinol Peel and is ideal for skin with visible, moderate aging such as sun damage and wrinkles and collagen depletion. Mild to moderate shedding of the skin is expected. This peel cannot be combined with any other treatment and a series of 3 is recommended for best results.
