Facial Add-Ons
Each SkinSpirit facial treatment is custom blended by our aestheticians to help firm, hydrate, correct and clarify the skin to restore its optimum texture, look and feel. Our facial treatments always begin with a thorough evaluation of the client’s skin followed by gentle steaming and extractions, if necessary. Depending on the client’s skin type, desired outcomes and recommendations of the aesthetician, any of the following services may be added to a facial treatment to boost the results of the skincare treatment:
Neck and Chest (The Décolleté Facial)
The neck and chest are area often overlooked and not included during a facial treatment. This add-on service can include microdermabrasion or a chemical peel on these areas during treatment.
Back of the Hands and Arms
Help eliminate the signs of aging from the back of the hands with either microdermabrasion or a chemical peel to this area.
Back Treatment
This service mirrors the techniques used in traditional facials . Back facial treatments are intended to clarify and soften the skin of the back and provide deep cleansing and hydration in that hard to reach area, leaving you with healthier skin. Back Treatments can be an add-on service to most facial treatments or as a standalone skincare treatment. Back Treatments can also include a Resurfacing Treatment or Microdermabrasion for an additional treatment time and price.
Resurfacing Treatment
Mildly stimulate the production of new, healthy skin cells through a chemical exfoliation. Mild downtime is expected with this add-on treatment and will vary with each type of Resurfacing Treatment.
Chemical Peel
Chemical peels are more aggressive than resurfacing treatments and are designed to deliver optimal results. Downtime is expected with these add-on treatments and will vary with each type of peel.
Microdermabrasion
Although a microdermabrasion treatment is quick and effective on its own, SkinSpirit highly recommends it as an addition to any of our facial treatments. Microdermabrasion will enhance exfoliation, product penetration, ease of pore extractions and overall radiance of the skin.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a very effective way to surface the skin and reveal a brighter, more youthful complexion. It’s a precision technique and our most thorough form of exfoliation and may require a few days of recuperation. The aesthetician uses a custom blade to remove dead skin cells along with unwanted facial hair. While it does not result in hair growing back thicker, the hair will grow back, resulting in mild sensation so this treatment is not for everyone! Laser hair removal may be recommended for facial hair solutions.
Micro-Penning
Micro-Penning is a great way to amplify the positive effects of your current home skin care regimen and clinical facial treatments. It refreshes the skin and helps reduce the look of pore size. In some cases micro-penning can improve the texture and laxity of the skin, particularly when coupled with a consistent at-home skincare. A consultation with an aesthetician and a specific application of recommended home care products is required prior to treating.
