UGH! I have fallen off the wagon completely! Yes its true. I’m the manager of the REBALANCE program so why am I not at a perfect weight at all times?! BECAUSE… I don’t always follow my own advice! I have battled my weight my entire life. When we launched the REBALANCE program 4 years ago, I was the first to jump in and get involved as one of the guinea pigs for it. I lost about 30 pounds and have maintained it until about the last 7 months. I had a lot going on in my personal life and stopped paying attention to me. Slowly the pounds started creeping back on. At only 5ft, you don’t have a lot of room to gain! Wearing comfy baggy scrubs everyday makes it easy to ignore that things are not fitting right also.
So just like I tell my patients “its ok we will get you back on track, its time to take care of you”, I am now telling myself! I did my InBody 520 body scan this morning. OUCH! That was not an easy reality to face!. Then I opened up my dusty old my fitness pal app on my phone (feel free to follow me and see my daily food diary ccakes27), did some meal prepping for the week last night, took some before pictures, and am now feeling positive and motivated to get restarted on the REBALANCE lifestyle. I’m excited to share my story and journey with all of my patients new and returning!
