Week 6 and 7
I’ve officially put myself on a scale timeout! I always tell my patients that the number on the scale is only a small part of the picture. So when I noticed that I was weighing myself everyday, I decided to put myself on a scale timeout until I knew I could stick to a once-a-week weigh-in. I know that I have lost weight and gained muscle because of how my body looks and feels. My clothes are fitting better too! YAY!
Here are some major changes that I’ve made in my daily routine since I restarted REBALANCE. First, NO MORE SUGAR IN MY COFFEE. I’m used to having my daily coffee with a spoon of sugar and milk. That adds up quickly! Instead, I switched out the sugar and milk for vanilla coconut milk and it’s wonderful! Secondly, GOT MY BUTT BACK TO THE GYM. Even though I’m only going to the gym three days a week, I’m still going on a regular basis. The Body Pump classes are my favorite!! Also, NO MORE EATING AFTER 8PM. Since I’ve cut off my dinnertime by 8pm, I noticed that I’ve been sleeping better and my body has more time to digest before I go to sleep. All of these changes are small steps, but they’re making a big difference!
