My scale stopped working at home on Monday. I think this is a sign.

The bad news? I had an excessive amount of hot dogs over the Fourth of July weekend while camping in the great outdoors. I dined on hot dogs for breakfast and lunch. I even picked up and polished off a whole bag of Dill Pickle flavored potato chips. For dinner, I helped myself to an unhealthy amount of s’mores. My fiancé and I have managed to perfect our s’mores technique, which now includes a layer of crunchy peanut butter. Then the whole s’more is wrapped in foil and roasted in a grill over the open fire.

The good news? I didn’t spend the whole weekend sitting in front of the campfire eating. I did manage to stay pretty active with walking along the beach and fitting in a couple of wakeboarding sets behind the boat.

In attempt to redeem myself, I did go to Bikram Yoga once this week. I thought I was going to die!! I couldn’t stop sweating until a good hour AFTER my class. I think my body was trying to tell me something by attempting to sweat out all my bad diet decisions for the week.
