1. Joy Sheppard, Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at SkinSpirit San Francisco and avid weightlifter, reminds us that “healthy” is about more than what you eat – it’s also about how you take care of your mind, body and spirit.
“Spend 5-10 minutes a day in silence,” advises Joy. “Journal, meditate, think about letting go of negative thoughts and welcoming gratitude.”
