Chemical Peels in Walnut Creek
Reduce discoloration, breakouts and wrinkles
What Is A Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels reveal the smoother, healthier skin below the surface. They tend to be stronger and deeper penetrating than resurfacing treatments, which are generally light and gentle.
How It Works
Chemical peels dissolve the connection that holds dead cells together on the surface of the skin, revealing the smoother, healthier skin beneath. There are a number of different types of peels available at SkinSpirit Walnut Creek, and we can help recommend the best option for your goals after your complimentary consultation.
The SkinSpirit Experience
Chemical peels work from the inside of the skin out and peeling will take days to appear. Downtime is expected with these treatments but varies with each one.
Chemical peels are expected to take on average 30 minutes.
Ideal for those with pigment abnormalities, acne and photo damage.
This chemical peel treatment is the next step above a Pumpkin/Pro–Retinol Peel and a Salicylic Acid resurfacing treatment — perfect for those wanting their first “chemical peel.” It addresses various skin conditions, such as hyper pigmentation, breakouts and sun damage.
The Vitalize Peel cannot be combined with any other treatment. A series of three treatments at our Walnut Creek location is recommended for best results. Peeling will occur two days after application and last two to four days. Peeling results may vary with each treatment and for each person.
Modified Jessner Peel
Ideal for those with stubborn hyper pigmentation, moderate acne and oiliness.
More aggressive than a Vitalize Peel, this peel renews oily and ruddy skin while reducing the look of discoloration.
It cannot be combined with any other treatment. A series of three treatments is recommended for best results. Moderate shedding of the skin is expected. Peeling will occur 2 days after application and last 3-6 days. Results vary with each treatment and for each person.
Ideal for skin with visible sun damage, wrinkles and collagen depletion.
This peel is formulated to reduce the visible signs of moderate aging. Unlike the above, it can be combined with any other treatments at SkinSpirit Walnut Creek (depending on your clinical aesthetician’s recommendation).
Mild to moderate shedding of the skin can be expected although peeling varies for each person and is not the indication of a successful peel. The improvement of skin may occur even without visible peeling. As a stand-alone treatment, a series of three sessions is recommended for best results.

Chemical peel treatments are more aggressive than resurfacing treatments and are designed to deliver optimal results.
Results vary depending on the treatment that best fits your skin type, but ultimately all chemical peels help skin look noticeably brighter, more even and smoother.

“Love visiting this Spa! But, what makes it even more special is my esthetician Melissa White. She has given me the knowledge and confidence to embrace my self care skin treatments. Recently, I paid a visit to experience the Vita Peel she suggested. I was a little nervous at first. But, with your wonderful spirit and reassurance I felt at ease. After the procedure my skin felt amazing and I could literally feel the treatment instantly working. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and knowledge of her craft. Pay her a visit and you will be in the BEST hands.”
Keep up the terrific work Melissa!! You definitely have enhanced my life. All the best in 2019″
