“This is 63?”
That’s the question Ellen keeps asking herself.
The writer, avid hiker, teacher, wife and mother is proud to tell people her age. Aging isn’t something to be scared of in her eyes; in fact, Ellen has found the exact opposite.
As an author of six books, four of which are novels — A Wedding in Provence, The Paradise Guest House, On a Night Like This, and French Lessons (which hit the New York Times bestseller list) — Ellen notes that she didn’t find career success until later in life. She published her first novel at 49, and is currently wrestling with the muses while writing her current novel.
For Ellen, confidence is something you have to convince yourself you have. And then you can achieve anything. Recently, she hiked and climbed 110 mountainous miles on the French-German border in only a week. Ellen is goal-oriented, and working hard with intention — whether it be physically in France or mentally on the page — grants her new confidence each day.
Ellen loves dermal filler, applied by SkinSpirit’s expert team, to add volume to some of her trouble spots. Just a little bit of filler makes Ellen feel like herself, without changing too much. She loves using the Revision tinted moisturizer daily, which gives her flawless coverage and protects her skin from the sun, especially when she’s hiking.
