What Is BOTOX?

BOTOX is an injectable product that’s FDA-approved to reduce the signs of certain lines and wrinkles on the face. Although it was approved for cosmetic use in 2002, the active ingredient in BOTOX—a purified protein—has been trusted by the medical community for many years and in many different capacities. Anticipated Results

Keep in mind that it does take some time for your best BOTOX results to develop — typically about a week. From there, they can last between three and six months, depending on your own unique physiology and where on your face you had injections.
