PRP Skin Rejuvenation

Smooth wrinkles + improve skin tone

What Is PRP Skin Rejuvenation?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) contains growth factors, stem cells and platelets known to aid in healing skin and producing new skin cells. Combining PRP with other resurfacing treatments can be a way to enhance results.

How It Works

By injecting PRP into the skin, the treatment allows your body’s natural growth factors and stem cells to repair the micro-injuries created and heal the skin. This provides natural results without a major risk for side effects.

The SkinSpirit Experience

At SkinSpirit, we administer PRP through the Aquagold Microchannel device. The Aquagold device creates the micro-channels in the skin while injecting it with Platelet Rich Plasma.

When you come in for your PRP injection, your expert medical provider at SkinSpirit will:

  1. Draw your blood through a special collection tube and place it in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins the blood separating the different components within it to allow your practitioner to extract out the PRP.
  2. Using an Aquagold device, they can then inject PRP into areas of the face, neck and décolletage.

Anticipated Results

Most people can return to their normal, daily activities immediately after their treatment. The total healing time depends on the emphasis of the treatment. On average, the skin might be pink one to three days after the treatment.

Once the pinkness subsides, PRP skin rejuvenation will enhance the skin tone and texture. Visible changes in the skin develop several weeks after treatment. Results continue to improve up to six months after the original treatment, as collagen production continues over time.
