All facials are not alike. The professionals at SkinSpirit offer medical-grade skin care and facials that clinically improve the quality of your skin over time. Our chemical resurfacing treatments will exfoliate your skin, revealing softer and more radiant skin underneath.
If you are interested in learning more about chemical resurfacing in Northern and Southern California, Texas, Utah, or Washington, our clinical aestheticians receive ongoing training and the best tools and products to get you the best results. We invite you to come in for a complimentary consultation.
Through chemical exfoliation, resurfacing treatments mildly stimulate the production of new, healthy facial cells to improve the appearance of your skin. Resurfacing affects the skin from the top down, resulting in more immediate surface exfoliation than other facials.
How It Works
There are several different types of resurfacing treatments, and the process varies based on which type you choose. Your aesthetician can help you determine which is best for your skin concerns during your complimentary consultation.
Lactic Acid Peel
Ideal for first-time peelers and sensitive skin types.
This AHA peel lightens and brightens while helping the skin retain moisture. Can be added to any facial treatment. Very little to no peeling is expected.
Glycolic Acid Peel
Ideal for aging skin and those with hyper pigmentation.
This AHA peel penetrates deeper than a lactic acid peel and is ideal for aging, acne scarred or thick built up skin. It addresses fine lines and pigment concerns and stimulates collagen production, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and renewed after a mild flaking process that can last one to three days. Can be added to most facial treatments. As a stand-alone treatment, a series of six treatments is recommended for best results.
Salicylic Acid Peel
Ideal for thick, oily, vascular and/or acne-prone skin.
This peel contains salicylic acid to break down oil, shrink oil glands and exfoliate inside and outside the follicle walls. May be added to most facial treatments. As a stand-alone treatment, a series of three treatments is recommended for best results. Mild flaking may be expected.
Ideal for those looking for more aggressive anti-aging results.
This superficial anti-aging peel combines glycolic and lactic acids with anti-aging peptides and medical-grade vitamin A for more dramatic results. It is also great right before a big evening out. Can be added to most facial treatments. As a stand-alone treatment, a series of six treatments is recommended for best results. You may experience minimal to medium flaking a few days after application.
Ideal for thick, oily, hyper-pigmented and/or acne-prone skin.
This peel combines glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, pumpkin pulp, and medical-grade vitamin A to help pores look smaller and skin feel unbelievably smooth. Can be added to most facial treatments. As a stand-alone treatment, a series of six treatments is recommended for best results. You may experience minimal to medium flaking.
The SkinSpirit Experience
Drawing on their extensive experience of therapeutic ingredients, our clinical aestheticians custom-blend each resurfacing treatment to help firm, hydrate, correct and clarify the skin to restore its optimum texture, look and feel.
All SkinSpirit facials begin with a thorough evaluation of your skin and include gentle steaming and pore extractions when necessary. (Extractions are not part of stand-alone therapies.) You’ll also get recommendations for an at-home skincare regimen, which can include medical-grade products available exclusively at medical skin care clinics like SkinSpirit.
Luxurious and therapeutic, our facials, including our chemical resurfacing treatments, are the perfect prescription for beautiful skin. The entire process takes just around 30 minutes.
Please note that mild downtime is expected with these treatments and varies with each type of chemical peel.
