You have just received the first step in your Cosmelan treatment and should have received instructions for the Cosmelan product on your skin. Do not leave the mask on any longer than your provider has instructed you.
You may spritz the mask with water in order to keep it moist; do not let it dry out.
After the required leave on time:
- Gently remove the Cosmelan treatment with cold water using Hydra milk or Gel cleanser and pat dry entire skin with a clean face towel.
- Dispense a generous amount of Melan recovery cream until fully absorbed.
- Finalize by applying a nickel size amount of Melan 130+ pigment control mesoprotech onto hands and apply on entire face until fully absorbed (during the day).
Day 2:
- Cleanse the skin with Hydra milk or Gel cleanser in circular motions, and remove with warm water using facial sponges.
- Dispense a generous amount of Melan recovery cream until fully absorbed.
- Finalize by applying a nickel sized amount of Melan 130+ pigment control mesoprotech onto hands and apply on entire face until fully absorbed (during the day).
Day 3 (48 hours after initial treatment):
- Cleanse the skin with Hydra milk or Gel cleanser using circular motions and remove with warm water using facial sponges (morning & night).
- Gently apply a dime sized amount of Cosmelan 2 cream on entire face (3x a day).
- Dispense a generous amount of Melan Recovery Cream on entire face until fully absorbed (3x a day).
- Finalize by applying a nickel sized amount of Melan 130+ Pigment Control onto hands and apply on entire face until fully absorbed (during the day).
Month 1:
Apply the following products to clean skin 3 times a day (morning, noon, and night):
- Cosmelan 2
- Melan recovery
- Melan 130 pigment control
Months 2-3:
Apply the following products to clean skin 2 times a day (morning, and night):
- Cosmelan 2
- Melan recovery
- Melan 130 pigment control
Please note, you will need to repurchase another tub of the Cosmelan 2 cream, as one container generally lasts 3 months. Please schedule your quick 15 min follow-up appt at your clinic and we will send you home with new cream ($340 cost).
Months 4-7:
Apply the following products to clean skin once in the morning:
- Cosmelan 2
- Melan recovery
- Melan 130 pigment control
