Always follow the medical advice of your physician regarding the care of your skin.
- Avoid a “fresh” sunburn or recent sun exposure, which reddens the skin and makes it tender.
- For three days prior to the procedure, do not use topical products containing retinols, isotretinoin (e.g. Retin-A®), glycolic acid, or salicylic acid, or other irritating products as these can irritate the skin.
- Gently wash treatment area with a mild cleanser. Do not apply ANY creams, lotions, foundation, powder or other products prior to treatment.
- Over-the-counter, analgesic medication such as acetaminophen (Tylenol®) or ibuprofen (Motrin) may be taken prior to arrival.
