I’ve hurt my back and things have been difficult for a while. My diet has been a mix of sticking to the program, eating oatmeal and toast to buffer the pills, and nausea from the pills. I’m through the really bad few days and for the next week the pain should go slowly down with a mix of ice, gentle moving and walks, and breaks throughout the day.
I whined a bit – things had been going well – other injuries had healed and I was doing all the exercise I want – and I had been going down about one pound of fat as I gained one pound of muscle per week. So I was feeling sorry for myself, but now back in the saddle. Tomorrow I’ll be back to 1150 calories a day which should be easy now that I’m not exercising and getting extra hungry.
