Tam Lamarre, BSN, RN
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Registered Nurse, Electrologist and Medical Aesthetician, Tam Lamarre takes a hands-on approach to treatment – working with each patient to achieve their individual goals. Taking the time to listen, educate, and understand each client’s goals allows her to delver a successful, customized treatment to suit their needs, and it’s this approach in large part that has allowed her to build a loyal following.
Tam enjoys building connections with each patient beginning with a consultation, and working with them to build confidence and enhance their moods with personalized treatments.
While she specializes in medical services at SkinSpirit, a deep cleansing facial will always be one of her favorite treatments. “I love a deep cleansing facial to suction the pores and remove dead pigmented cells,” she says. “And as an injector, starting with a clean palette will result in overall better treatment outcomes.”
Similarly, she reinforces the importance of a quality home care routine. “It takes two to reach your skin care goals – medical aesthetic treatments and compliance n using an appropriate home care regimen,” she says. “Quality skin care products are key in maximizing the result of the treatments you receive in a medical clinic.”
When she’s not helping clients at SkinSpirit, Tam is a nature lover who loves to cook. Fun fact: she spent most of her childhood Montreal, Canada, and still visits each year with her family!
Tam Recommends: Retinol & a tinted SPF
There are so many advantages to using a Retinol product. It’s an antiseptic for acne-prone skin, it’s been proven to stimulate collagen production in aging skin, and it’s an overall great product for most skin types. Also, the right tinted SPF will encourage compliance as most people tend to skip it due to the hue or the greasiness. A good, tinted SPF is necessary to protect the skin from developing excessive hyperpigmentation and mitigate unwanted effects sun damage.”
