Facial balancing uses strategic volume and structure to harmonize your natural features, creating a more defined, youthful, and proportioned appearance.
Our expert practitioners evaluate your facial anatomy—including fat loss, bone density shifts, and wrinkles—to strategically add volume and structure where you need it most.
Facial balancing treats:
Facial balancing is typically performed as a comprehensive initial session to harmonize facial proportions. Depending on your anatomy and goals, it may be completed in one visit or staged across multiple appointments. Maintenance is then evaluated annually.
Facial balancing typically uses a combination of techniques, including dermal fillers and BOTOX to add volume and create structural definition.
The most natural, lasting results in facial balancing often come from a series of carefully planned treatments tailored to each individual's needs. Your provider will discuss a customized treatment plan during your consultation.
Yes, absolutely! Facial balancing is completely customized to your unique facial features and aesthetic goals.
Minimal to mild downtime. Because facial balancing involves strategic filler placement across multiple areas, temporary swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising is expected. Most clients comfortably return to work within a day or two, with final results settling beautifully over two weeks.
Before your Facial Balancing appointment, stop taking blood-thinning supplements (like Omega-3s and Vitamin E), Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and Naproxen 1 week prior, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Eat before your visit, and notify your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, unwell, or have had a vaccination, dental procedure, illness, or antibiotics in the past 14 days. Avoid scheduling right before special events, as appropriate healing time is required. Please see full pre-treatment instructions here.
After your Facial Balancing appointment, expect temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, or temporary asymmetry as swelling resolves over days to weeks. Avoid alcohol for 4–6 hours, heavy exercise (especially inversions like yoga) for 24 hours, and avoid aggressive rubbing or pressure for 6 weeks (unless using Sculptra, which requires massaging 5 times daily for 5 days). Avoid intense heat, sun exposure, vaccinations, and dental work for 2 weeks post-treatment. Please see full post-treatment instructions here.
It depends! Your provider will recommend a personalized treatment plan based on your goals. Depending on the treatments needed, you may need to schedule a follow-up appointment. Please contact your local clinic for availability.
