Carlos Sandoval is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist recognized for his expertise in facial balancing and natural-looking aesthetic results. With more than 15 years of experience in dermatology and aesthetic medicine, he is known for delivering refined, natural-looking results that enhance each patient’s unique features while maintaining facial harmony.
Carlos began his career in dermatology clinics throughout Northern California, where he developed a strong foundation in skin health, procedural dermatology, and patient-centered care. This experience shaped his philosophy that exceptional aesthetic outcomes begin with healthy skin and a deep understanding of facial anatomy.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Francisco State University and his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from San José State University, where he is completing his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with graduation expected in May 2026. His doctoral work focuses on advancing safety and education in aesthetic medicine through structured training programs designed to improve patient outcomes.
Carlos is widely recognized for his contributions to clinical education within the aesthetics industry. He serves as a national faculty trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute, where he trains physicians and advanced providers across the United States in advanced injection techniques for Botox® Cosmetic and the Juvéderm® collection of fillers. He was also selected to participate in the Masters of BOTOX® Cosmetic program, a national initiative focused on advancing best practices in neurotoxin treatments. Carlos is also a clinical educator for Sciton, specializing in advanced laser and energy-based skin rejuvenation technologies.
At SkinSpirit, Carlos serves as Director of Provider Development, where he leads training initiatives that support provider expertise and patient safety across the organization.
