Tara Johnson, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with 16 years of experience across a variety of medical specialties. A Middle Tennessee native who has called Franklin home for more than a decade, Tara earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2008 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in 2011.
Throughout her career, Tara has practiced in ICU, urgent care, allergy, and palliative care settings, building a strong and diverse clinical foundation. For the past six years, she has focused on aesthetics and wellness, combining her medical expertise with a personalized approach to help patients achieve their individual goals safely and thoughtfully.
Tara believes great care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand what matters to each patient and strives to make everyone she treats feel heard, seen, and valued. Her approach focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that help patients look natural, refreshed, and like the best version of themselves.
For Tara, the most rewarding part of aesthetic medicine is simple: helping people look and feel their best.
Outside of the clinic, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, and their three children. She loves traveling, exploring her own town with her family, working on puzzles, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and watching sunsets from the porch swing. She’s also an avid sports fan who loves cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. Tara and her family are currently on a mission to attend a baseball game at every MLB stadium.
Favorite Treatments: Neuromodulators and microneedling. Tara loves pairing treatments that can help smooth the appearance of skin while supporting collagen production for results patients can appreciate both now and over time.
Favorite Skincare Products: Plated™ eye serum and the Skinbetter Science® duo of Alto Defense Serum™ and AlphaRet® Overnight Cream, some of Tara’s go-to products for supporting a comprehensive skincare routine.
