Tess is a board-certified nurse practitioner bringing over a decade of training and professional experience in the areas of internal medicine, clinical research, plastic surgery, dermatology, and her true passion, aesthetic medicine.
She is a proud San Francisco city native. As the daughter of a UCSF physician-scientist and a Stanford documentary filmmaker, Tess not only inherited a passion for healthcare and aesthetics, but also an exceptional personal standard of excellence. She received her BA in French from Wellesley College, and a combined BSN/MSN with academic honors in advanced practice nursing from Harvard's teaching hospital, Massachusetts General.
Tess’ aesthetic practice is centered around the individual, with a focus on each patient’s natural beauty, treatment goals, and lifestyle. She believes addressing skin health is foundational to any treatment. Healthy, happy skin is beautiful at every age. Tess specializes in neuromodulating and volumizing injectables, lasers, and biostimulating minimally-invasive treatments. Her all-time favorite to receive, and to perform, is microneedling with PRP. It is safe for all skin types, has minimal downtime, and is both preventative and corrective for skin texture and tone. Her favorite, must have skincare product is sunscreen, and can talk about it for hours, if allowed. Alastin’s Hydratint Pro Mineral SPF is an all time favorite for its UVA/UVB and blue light protection, is sensitive skin- friendly and can double as a beautiful BB cream.
She lives with her husband, young son, and rescue chihuahua, Leeloo. She enjoys all things French, gluten-free baking, quality family time, international travel, and ballroom dancing.
