PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Please inform your practitioner if you are taking medications such as Plavix or coumadin for any medical condition.
- Arrive at the clinic with clean, product free hair. For best results – it is recommended that clients use oral supplements and topical minoxidil or Max Regrowth for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment.
- If your treatment involves a blood draw adhere to the following:
- To obtain optimal results and to decrease the chance of bruising at the blood draw site, please avoid blood thinning medications i.e.) aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E supplements for one week prior to treatment.
- Please eat within 2 hours of your appointment and drink plenty of water for optimal hydration before your appointment.
Post-treatment Instructions:
Day of Treatment:
- Avoid Motrin or Ibuprofen to minimize bruising.
- Avoid touching or washing the treated area for a few hours post-application to allow optimal absorption.
- Shower and shampoo gently 24 hours post treatment to minimize discomfort.
- No harsh products should be used for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid topical products for 24 hours.
- Sun protection is recommended to protect the healing skin.
After 24 hours:
- Shower as normal.
- Shampoo as normal.
- No hair dye for 48 hours.
- Sun protection is recommended to protect the healing skin.
- Please schedule your next appointment in 4 weeks or as recommended by your provider.
