Tristen Heitz is a graduate of Stanford University's School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program with 17 years of experience. Tristen found her true passion and calling when she began her post-graduate fellowship in esthetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. She has worked for three premier dermatology practices in the South Bay and Marin, perfecting her skills under the guidance of industry experts.
Tristen is proud to be a guest lecturer for the Stanford School of Medicine Physician Assistant program. Her solid foundation in medical dermatology is an asset she brings with her to SkinSpirit, helping create the best care plan for each patient according to his or her medical and esthetic needs. Her highest priority is patient satisfaction and making sure each patient feels heard and understood.
Tristen believes esthetic medicine is an art and recreating a natural, balanced, youthful look is a talent, and her way of expressing her creative side. She is highly skilled and most passionate about using all dermal fillers and selecting the perfect product to create the best look for each patient. Additionally, Tristen is skilled in submental fat reduction using Kybella, neuromodulators such as Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport; skin resurfacing treatments such as medical micro-penning, Fraxel, ResurFX, and Photofractional; as well as Ultherapy for skin tightening; and IPL to even skin pigment, minimize the appearance of pores and clear broken capillaries.
Tristen shares a love of learning and continues to further her education by keeping current with all dermatologic and esthetic advancements. She is a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and The American Academy of Physician Assistants. In addition to dermatology Tristen has worked in women's health, primary care, surgery and gastroenterology. Her interest, knowledge and experience with alternative and holistic medicine compliments her ability to enhance health and beauty from the inside out.
When away from SkinSpirit, you will find Tristen enjoying life with yoga, skiing, hiking with her dogs and her ultimate passion: her adventurous children who continually amaze and remind her of what truly matters in life.
