Alyssa is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at SkinSpirit Long Beach who truly cares about her patients and treats them like family. She loves being able to help her patients feel beautiful in their own skin.

Her favorite treatment is microneedling to help with skin tone and texture, combined with Botox to help relax the muscles. Alyssa feels that combining these treatments together can help her patients achieve an amazing glow.

Outside of work, you can find Alyssa at Disneyland with her two kids, playing at the nearest park, walking her two French bulldogs or searching Yelp for the newest restaurant or coffee shop in town. A fun fact about Alyssa is that she played softball for 15 years and won a National title!

Jennifer Kang loves what she does. Passionate about both science and the arts, she found pursuing a career in Medical Aesthetics helped her merge her two skill sets - while at the same time, allowing her to address the psychosocial aspects of aging and skin-related issues.

"I love how medical aesthetics can positively impact people's self-esteem and quality of life," says Jennifer. "And I am amazed by the confidence that radiates from those who garner a positive self image."

With two bachelor's degrees and a Master's in Nursing under her belt, Jennifer is meticulous in educating her patients prior to performing any treatment - so that they not only understand what her recommendations are, but why she's making them. It's this ability to be thorough - during, before, and after each treatment - coupled with the time she takes to get to know each patient and be available to them, that keeps her patients coming back.

When it comes to favorite treatments, Jennifer loves how microneedling smooths and thickens the skin, creating a healthy glow.

She also believes the way you treat your skin at home is equally important to your skin health journey.In fact, at home skin care is imperative to maintaining the results of in-office treatments. "Years of damage or neglect cannot be reversed in one treatment nor prevented without daily care," says Jennifer.

When she's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Jennifer is a self-proclaimed homebody who loves spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys nature, working on art projects, and binge watch pimple popping videos and true crime documentaries!

Madison graduated from the University of Tampa in 2019 and initially worked at a Level 1 trauma center before transitioning into a travel nursing role. Eventually, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for aesthetics. She is currently advancing her career by pursuing a Master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Purdue Global University. Madison holds a BSN and is a Registered Nurse (RN), having attended and assisted in numerous specialized trainings, including the Cadaver Dissection Anatomy Course for injectors by Dr. David Saadat.

What sets Madison apart as a practitioner is her holistic approach to aesthetics. She takes the time to understand her patients, what they love about themselves, and what they hope to achieve. By blending their perspectives with her expertise, she creates personalized treatment plans that ensure results her patients will love. She also stands by her integrity as a provider, always willing to say "no" if a treatment is not in the patient's best interest.

Her current favorite treatment is microneedling, a versatile, year-round option that is safe for all skin types. She believes in the importance of treating both the surface and underlying concerns of the skin, complementing injectable treatments. Her must-have skincare product is Colorscience Glow SPF, which she loves for its ability to provide both sun protection and a radiant, glowing complexion, as if you've just returned from a restful vacation.

Madison loves her work because it allows her to give people a confidence boost and help them see their true beauty. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with her two French Bulldogs, studying, trying new foods, and traveling. A fun fact about her is that she used to be a travel nurse, so she calls both the Northeast and Florida home.

From the classroom to the treatment room, Odessa Andaya, BSN, RN, has dedicated her career to aesthetics. After graduating with her ADN from Pasadena City College in 2015, Odessa continued on to receive her Bachelors' degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in 2019. She has also attended countless aesthetic conferences and has been mentored by some of the most well-respected injectors in the field.

Before coming to SkinSpirit, Odessa helped grow numerous aesthetic practices and held the title of lead injector in an upscale New York City aesthetic spa. Here, she was able to expand her understanding of the beauty market among a melting pot of individuals. She left a more well-rounded provider.

With artistry at the forefront to her skills, Odessa strives to maintain every individual's unique qualities, ensuring beauty enhancements that are natural. Her goals are to harmonize and refresh her patients' features so when leaving her chair, you feel and look your absolute best. She lives by the motto, "If you feel the most confident physically and mentally, you will lead with kindness and spread positivity."

"I love what I do because every time I step into a room, that is my opportunity to empower my patients and hopefully instill confidence inward and outward," says Odessa.

When it comes to treatments, her favorite combination is cheek filler and under eye filler, for the right candidate.

She finds that addressing these areas can make such a significant difference to achieve a well-rested, refreshed look and acts as a foundation of youth to the surrounding areas of the face.

Outside of the clinic, she thrives on spontaneity and is up for any adventure. From trying interesting cuisine, to exploring sights and meeting new people, Odessa jumps at the opportunity for good company and new experiences!

Board-certified family nurse practitioner Sade Barrington brings over ten years of healthcare experience, five spent specializing in cosmetics, to SkinSpirit.

Sade began her career in healthcare as a combat medic and soon after, became a licensed practical nurse in the United States Army, completing her time in service as a Mother Baby nurse at Fort Lewis, WA.

She attended the University of Oklahoma's LPN-BSN program and returned to Washington with a new sense of direction. She found her home in aesthetics, dedicating the next five years to cosmetic surgery: working clinic side, OR, and post anesthesia care. Reaching for the next step in her career, she attended the University of Miami, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree and pursued training in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

"I love being part of a field that inspires positivity," she says.

Today, Sade specializes in combination therapy, using various treatment modalities - like Botox, filler, and laser treatments - to achieve the best results.

When she's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Sade enjoys travelling, spending time in the mountains, and practicing yoga, balancing out her active and adventurous side with time at the park, beachside soaking up the sun or binging on the next Netflix show.
