Andy Ferski has had an inherent passion for aesthetics and dermatology since he was a child. He's always been artistically driven and found aesthetics to be the perfect combination of art and medicine - allowing him to pursue his passion while caring for others.

Andy received his undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Minnesota. He then went on to acquire a master's degree in applied clinical research at St. Cloud State before moving to Chicago, IL. During his time in Chicago, he completed a second master's in physician assistant studies from the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where he completed specialized training in outpatient skin surgery and dermatology in preparation for his aesthetic career.

Today, Andy stands out as a practitioner for his gentle touch and calming demeanor - qualities that make his patients feel comfortable and confident. He has devoted himself to continuous learning and research so he can provide the best treatment for each patient.

Andy has a strong passion for light- and laser-based treatments, particularly IPL and laser resurfacing, because he believes these to be two of the most impactful treatments for the right candidates.

When it comes to home care, Andy believes it is very important to understand not every product works for every individual. A product that produces incredible results for one person might contribute to dry or oily skin, acne breakouts, or subpar results in another. His philosophy on skincare and at-home products is based on years of trial and error for sensitive, temperamental skin. He has found that having a set of two to three key products can be affordable, help dramatically improve skin texture and tone, and greatly enhance the results of other aesthetic services a patient may be interested in.

When he's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Andy enjoys cooking and playing classical violin.

Haley Horner has been an aesthetic Registered Nurse since 2015 and Nurse Practitioner since 2020. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chico State and subsequently obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner license, from Holy Names University. She places significant importance on continued scientific innovation within the aesthetics field and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Haley is a perfectionist by nature. She has a meticulous eye for detail that can't be taught and prides herself on delivering a signature artistry of subtlety and beauty. She is known for producing both natural and unparalleled results that fit the individual need of her devoted clients. She values taking the time to provide honest and detailed instruction on how she can best achieve these outcomes, while ensuring her clients feel understood and listened to.

Haley's decision to pursue this life-long passion began when she shadowed and assisted her mom, a fellow aesthetic injector. As young as her pre-teen years, Haley knew she wanted to become an expert and worked tirelessly to make this a reality. As a second-generation aesthetic nurse, with over 10 years of experience, she is still driven to advance her skills. Ongoing education is very important to her. She has attended hundreds of hours of extracurricular training. This allows her to continue adding new techniques and facial assessment tools to her repertoire and keeps her up to date with cutting edge developments.

Working in this industry has allowed me to feel more empowered about my own insecurities and how I portray myself to the world. My primary goal as a clinician is to help others achieve the confidence I have and feel like the best version of themselves. I will always do everything within my power to make that happen."

Outside of work, Haley has taken facial sculpting classes that provided her with a unique insight into enhancing beauty and addressing age related changes for all. Haley also loves spending time with her husband, two cats as well as family and friends. She's a people person at the end of the day! Her interests also include: reading, live music, meditation, spending time outdoors and improving her Spanish.

Joey Chiera, PA-C, has been working as a Physician Associate (PA) in Dermatology for several years, seeing clients for a wide array of medical concerns and aesthetic treatments.

Originally from New York, he earned his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University on Long Island, one of the top PA programs in the country. After working for a few years in New York City, he relocated to the SF Bay Area in 2017, spending 18 months conducting numerous hair restoration procedures before returning to his "home" in the field of aesthetics, including all the joys and rewards of facial and body wellness. He is proud to be a distinguished Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology PAs.

As a practitioner, Joey strives to make his clients feel not only reassured with his unparalleled eye for precision and expertise, but also well-at-ease with his light-hearted style and sense of humor. He values educating and empowering his clients when it comes to choosing among in-office services and procedures, while promoting individually-tailored home regimens that align with one's busy schedule, lifestyle, and budget.

Joey has also retained his excitement for supporting clients with hair concerns. His favorite procedure is hair restoration. He is a firm believer in the power of early intervention and has several recommendations for supportive measures that can be done at home. Regardless of the service or procedure, Joey always aims to achieve balanced, natural-looking, and long-lasting results.

In all that he does, Joey exhibits a clear passion for learning. He frequently partakes in supplemental training courses and attends local and national conferences. He holds another Master's Degree in Animal Behavior and is also an avid birder and traveler, having visited nearly 25 countries.

During his time away from SkinSpirit, Joey can be found tending to his indoor urban jungle, taking his rescue chihuahua, Dolores, to the dog park, or practicing gymnastics and yoga to stay in shape.

Joie Beck is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She is also a Bay Area native and graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelors degree in Health Education and a Minor in Holistic Health. She then went on to earn a dual Masters degree in Nursing and Public Health followed by her Family Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification.

Joie began her clinical career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the University of California San Francisco medical campus where she was involved in critical care, leadership, education and best practice development. She also worked in Infection Prevention and Control. In 2010, she developed and implemented infection prevention and best practice protocols for the Cosmetic Dermatology Department at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco medical campus.

Joie's professional passion however, is aesthetics and she has committed herself to perfecting and evolving her knowledge, techniques and skill. Since 2007 She has worked with several Bay Area aesthetic practices where she has developed and maintained a loyal patient base. Using a gentle, conservative approach, Joie works with her patients to create individualized treatment plans to achieve a natural, refreshed look. She is considered an expert injector and specializes in dermal fillers using advanced techniques to lift and contour the face. Joie also has extensive experience with neuromodulators, skin resurfacing, laser technology, non-invasive body contouring and skin rejuvenation treatments.

In addition to her diverse career experience, Joie is also a guest lecturer for the Nurse Practitioner Program at San Francisco State University. She volunteers with several Bay Area organizations that provide assistance to homeless women, victims of domestic violence and substance abuse. She is currently working to develop a skin care rejuvenation program for marginalized women who are transitioning back into the workforce.

For 10 years, Joy Sheppard has specialized in non-surgical treatments to enhance natural beauty. After experiencing eczema and acne growing up, Joy became inspired to launch a career in aesthetics as a medical aesthetician. Her passion for helping clients put their best face forward fueled her desire to advance her skills in the aesthetics field by becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Joy received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of San Francisco and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Holy Names.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Joy takes a gentle and conservative approach in order to provide natural looking results for clients. In addition to her experience of working with clients in the treatment room, Joy has also worked as a Field Clinical Specialist for Merz Aesthetics where she trained other physicians on developing their skills and advanced techniques for cosmetic fillers and neuromodulators.

Joy believes in the power of dermal fillers. Whether a client wants a subtle lip enhancement, to refresh their undereyes or is looking for full face voluminization, fillers can work wonders for any of these desired results.

In her spare time, Joy enjoys spending time with family and weightlifting. She also enjoys volunteering her time to help friends and family who want to get physically fit. Joy believes a good quality life comes from taking care of both the heart and health.

Kelly Meaux is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with two decades of medical experience and training. She specializes in non-surgical treatments that deliver natural-looking results, and she is consistently recognized as one of the top anti-aging experts in San Francisco.

Kelly earned her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and her M.S. in Nursing from Texas Woman's University. After graduation, she worked in Cardiology and the Intensive Care Unit before moving into primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Kelly went on to receive advanced training in facial rejuvenation from Dr. Sam Naficy, one of the top facial plastic surgeons in the United States. Prior to SkinSpirit, Kelly served as Clinical Director at Golden Gate Skin Center and as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Gentle Star Medical Spa. She continuously receives advanced training from major aesthetic companies for BOTOX Cosmetic, dermal fillers, and innovative laser/light treatments.

Kelly is passionate about helping her clients feel better about themselves by enhancing their natural beauty. Her clients appreciate how calming their treatments can be with her, even for injections. She takes her time with each client to make sure they never feel rushed. To say Kelly loves her job is an understatement. When asked by her husband how her day was at work, she often replies, "Great! Having suffered from rosacea and cystic acne as a teenager, Maria developed a burning passion for skincare at an early age and has specialized in the Aesthetics industry for 15 years. Desiring a radiant complexion, she started her career as an Aesthetician, then later received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of San Francisco.

Maria has had the pleasure of working in some of the nation's top Magnet-designated hospitals, such as Stanford and UCSF Medical Center, in addition to receiving the honor to provide care to the veterans at VA Medical Center. She has also worked in a world-renowned beauty company and a multitude of reputable beauty spas, accumulating a wealth of knowledge in treating ethnic skin. She is constantly inspired by evidence-based research to provide the highest standards of patient care.

Staying up to date with current beauty treatments, trends and techniques, Maria holds advanced certifications and mastered techniques in performing Injectable Fillers, Botox, PDO Threads, RF Micro Needling, Non-Surgical Face Lifting, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Q-Switched YAG, Laser Genesis, Fraxel Skin Resurfacing, CoolSculpting, Laser Liposuction, Laser Hair Removal, Vaginal Rejuvenation, IV Vitamin Therapy and PRP Injections.

Sydney Collier graduated from the Denver College of Nursing in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University, which she obtained in 2017. She is a licensed Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) dedicated to providing holistic care to her patients.

What sets Sydney apart as a practitioner is her commitment to viewing each patient as a whole individual. She takes the time to build rapport with her patients, ensuring they feel seen and heard as they work together to enhance their self-love and beauty. Sydney loves being a nurse because it allows her to create a safe and nurturing environment for her patients. She finds immense joy in hearing their stories and contributing to their confidence and self-love.

Her favorite treatment is Botox, which she considers a subtle way to enhance natural beauty. For skincare, Sydney swears by retinoids, which have significantly improved her skin's glow, texture, and overall appearance, always paired with daily sunscreen.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending her days off hiking with her dog, relaxing at the beach, practicing yoga, and traveling. She believes that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for taking care of herself, enabling her to be the best advocate and nurse for her patients.
